Oak Creek, Arizona
Canyon Diablo, 8 x 10, oil on canvas panel
Verde Valley, 8 x 10, oil on canvas panel
We stopped by Sedona and Oak Creek on the return trip from Colorado. What a spectacular area. I think I caught the light on Courthouse Butte.

Lake Pagosa, Colorado
Lake Pagosa, 8 x 10, oil on canvas panel

Williams Creek, Colorado
Williams Creek, 8 x 10, oil on canvas panel
This was a beautiful, remote spot. I was tempted to paint the river, behind me, but instead chose the view of the mountain with the cottonwoods.

Forest Lake, Pagosa Springs, CO
Forest Lake, 8 x 10, oil on canvas panel
This was the first of five paintings I was able to sneak in on our recent vacation to Colorado. It's a tough call between painting and fly-fishing in this beautiful part of the country. Luckily I got to enjoy both!
