ACEO tomato1

These minis are becoming quite fun for me. I'm enjoying them as a "small" series- examining the differences between transparent and opaque colors, direct painting versus glazing, using a variety of brushes. All of this while still maintaining a similar-looking outcome. Among other things, it shows me that there are many ways to get to an end.

SD River Estuary in Fall

What a beautiful day it was overlooking the estuary. This was done in the afternoon, looking east. I've been to this spot before, in the spring, and what a different scene this was. This fall, the estuary was golden with little water running through it. It was good to get back out there!

More minis

I haven't had much time to get out and paint so I've painted a couple more of these ACEOs. I'm really enjoying it, too.
