Backlit At Marian Bear, 8 x 10, oil on canvas
It was a nice morning at Marian Bear Park yesterday. I had about an hour to paint so I did this small one. There is so much to paint here. I even saw a coyote, snapped a few pics of him. Maybe I'll incorporate him into a painting.

Presidio View
Presidio View, 8 x 10, oil on prepared board
We have a group that goes out on a weekly basis to paint the San Diego River. This is last week's effort- it is painted from along Sea World Drive. Some artistic license was used - maybe this was the view 50 years ago. The structure on Presidio Hill is the Serra Museum.
It was a beautiful day out there. The fish were jumping, as usual.

Still painting the San Diego River. I did this last month and I'd like to go back and do another. The greens in the River were so vibrant.
