Not much posting going on, but still moving the paint around. I have had two paintings accepted into PaintAmerica's Paint the Parks Exhibit. This is a traveling exhibit focusing on the National Parks. I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful show. I painted pieces from Cabrillo National Monument here in San Diego. "Lost and Found" is part of the Top 100 and my painting "Tidepoolers" won the Director's Choice Award for the small paintings division.
"Lost and Found", 16x20, oil
"Tidepooler", 11x14, oil
I also have a painting in the California Art Club show "California Heritage". The painting is "En Route to the Prado"- a painting of Balboa Park.
"En Route to the Prado", 9x12, oil

All are gorgeous, Liz...
Congratulations on all of it... I loved seeing your work in person at the last CAC show, but didn't get to go to this one yet.
Thanks much Marian! I didn't get up to the last CAC show except a quick peek when I swapped paintings out. Looked like a great show. Take care!
beautiful work here Liz! I love the seecond one in this set "tidepooler". Great colour scheme and the figure has a great gesture. Like the bottom one on the way to the Prado too. fine work!
cheers, Mike
