This spring we spent some time near Warner Springs, enjoying California the way it once was- before it was "developed." I love the oaks with their strong character and the carpet of poppies and other wildflowers. We had terrific weather, too- perfect for plein air. "Oaks and Wildflowers" 8x10, oil.

Guess I'll look up Warner Springs to see where there is actually a spot in California that ISN'T developed.
Lovely, Liz!
Hi Marian,
Warner Springs is a nice little find, not too far from us in San Diego. It's not totally undeveloped, but you can still find glimpses of 'Old California' in the scenery.
Thanks for stopping in!
